Battery died in Business Bay parking, how fast can someone actually get here?
#1
Left work around 8pm yesterday and my car wouldn't even crank, just that sad clicking sound. Bay parking was almost empty so no one around to help jump it. Called a friend who suggested I look for a quick roadside battery service near Business Bay instead of waiting for a tow truck which he said would take forever at that hour. I ended up on Battery Zone UAE and their site mentioned same day delivery but I wasn't sure if that applies to evening calls or only normal working hours. Ended up just taking a taxi home and leaving the car overnight which felt wrong but I didn't know what else to do. Now I'm sitting here wondering if I should call them this morning or just get it towed to a garage. Has anyone used a mobile battery service in this area? How long did they take to arrive and did they charge extra for coming to a parking garage? My car is a Kia Sportage and I think it just needs a standard battery but I don't want to guess and order the wrong thing.
